Letters to my Mum

3 years..

1095 days….

26280 hours….

1576800 minutes….

Since I last saw you x

3 years today that I was told you had gone to sleep.

In so many ways I can’t believe it’s that long but in so many ways it feels like an eternity.

I found a lovely poem that I posted on Facebook today, I really think it is perfect

I have had a lovely day with Mike.

We took our gorgeous girls to school this morning and then went to Tesco to do the shopping.

Once that was done Mike dropped me off to see Grandma whilst he went in to town.

It was the best visit I have had in a long time. She was calm and considered, and actually made me giggle today. I enjoyed seeing her.

Mike and I went to the Wye Downs to say hi, it was a beautiful day to be up there

Followed by lunch at the Five Bells in Brabourne. Yes, the service was still as slow as the last time we had dinner there. Luckily Mike and I had an hour and a half to just have a 1 course light lunch! 😁

We collected the girls, did swimming lessons, dinner, showers and bed time.

All in all, still a strange day…. the day 3 years ago when everything changed to never be the same again but a lovely way to spend that day.

There have been a number of songs, things said and smells that have shown me that you have been around today. Thanks Mum ❀️.

Miss and love you loads

Love

Me x

P.s. Mike sends his love and misses you too x

Happy Easter Mum

Hi Mummy Darling, how are you?

Happy Easter 🐣 x

We’ve had a busy couple of weeks with Vics and Richard moving into their new house.

Plus it’s been the Easter holidays.

Mike and I had a couple of days in Manchester. It was my birthday present to go for a VIP Experience with a 3 course dinner, watching Man U vs Everton and then a tour of the stadium the next morning.

It was fantastic Mum and really lovely to have a couple of days away with Mike. Mandy and Chris kindly had the girls for us x

We then headed to Wales to stay with the Percivals for a few days. It was lovely to go and see them but I came down with the worst cold that I’ve had in a long time.

We pretty much chilled out at their house and we took the kids to the cinema. It was just lovely to see them and have some time away.

Good Friday we went to the beach. It was really windy but lovely to be there. Even though Easter changes dates every year it stil brings back memories of 3 years ago so it was lovely to go for a scooter, ice cream and some stone throwing.

We finished off the day with sausage and mash with my homemade onion gravy x

As you are more than aware, today is Isabelle’s 4th birthday Mum. She looked gorgeous in her dress and her earrings really reminded me of you 😊

She’s so grown up Mum, you would love your grand children so much.

We had a party at the new house for her, including an Easter egg hunt, she had a great time x

I’ve had a few cups of tea and some chocolate for you today Mum.

I did go and see Grandma as well. Not a great day today though, she wasn’t sure who I am today and was cross about who had put her in there. Never mind, maybe it’ll be better on Wednesday.

Happy Easter Mum. Our 4th one without you and still not the same.

I will enjoy the Cadburys chocolate that we would’ve given you so don’t worry 😁.

Love you loads Mum

Loads of love

Me ❀️

P.s. As it was a full moon whilst I was in Wales Kirsty did some card reading. Thank you for your message xxx
