Hi Mummy Darling,
We’re past the 2 year anniversary of the celebration of your life…. a strange day.
We had the most amazing time in Tenerife. We laughed and laughed at the water park, going on rides that scared the life out of us time and time again.
I think one of Mike’s favourite moments was putting me under a freezing cold waterfall and thinking it was hilarious.
It was lovely to spend some time with Jo and Craig and have a break from the everyday. The weather wasn’t amazing but it was warm and sunny most of the time which you know I love.
Our girls had great fun with their cousins whilst we were away. Many thanks to Beth and Si for looking after our girls, we couldn’t have gone away without their kindness.
Our girls had their annual fun run for Sports Relief, they did so well and all joined in even though it was a really hot day. Dad came to cheer them on as well which was lovely and the girls were really pleased to see him.
Isabelle is turning into the most gorgeous big sister. She absolutely adores Amelia and helps Mummy with everything (sometimes too much :-D). Vics is doing so well Mum, Amelia is growing so quickly already and changing from a new born to a baby.
We had a really lovely day at the zoo for Joshua’s birthday. We didn’t get to go on the safari but they all had great fun in the new dinosaur walk that St Edmunds have had built. It goes through all of the dinosaurs, with life-size models of them all.
On the two year anniversary I went out to my car in the morning to find the driver’s door and roof covered in feathers.
Thank you if they were from you, I know you are around us all the time.
It was also Abigail’s assembly that day. She did so well Mum.
Not only did she learn her lines off by heart but she said them loudly and clearly so everybody heard her.
You would’ve been so proud of her loud voice Mum.
Grandma is getting more and more confused Mum about who I am and what my connection is to her.
I keep reminding her when she asks but then she gets really upset that she doesn’t remember.
If I talk about Mum she will ask me to explain who my Mum is…….I remind her every time but it’s really hard when I know it’s going to upset her.
She was asking me why you haven’t written to her…. what do I say to that!?!?!
I’m just hoping it doesn’t get too bad.
After my tough visit with Grandma we went to a 50th Wedding Anniversary party.
Our girls were so tired on our way home that they all fell asleep in the car at 4pm….. bedtime was fun.
We all miss you so very much Mum. I wish you were here to see your gorgeous grandchildren growing up.
We are so very proud of them Mum, they are growing up into very kind and caring young ladies.
We love and miss you very much.
