Letters to my Mum

I need your help please

Hi Mum,

I found out last night that there’s a new bright star in the sky so you have a new angel with you.

It’s Big Gay Dan’s Dad Mum.

He’s only 59, one the most kind and caring people I have ever met.

He was only diagnosed on Mike and Chloe’s birthday and in such a short period of time he has been taken.

My heart is breaking for him and the family so please could you look after him for me Mum.

It brings back all of the pain and the hurt of losing you all over again.

Love and miss you Mum.

Love

Me x

Challenging week

Hi Mummy Darling,

How are you?

Definitely a challenging week last week, with my already heavy workload, I finally managed to arrange for Social Services to assess Grandma. After many phone calls and information being given.

I do wish they would make notes against her file. If one more person asks why we put her in there and gives me the unimpressed tone of voice when I say family reasons. Then when I explain about you being unwell and not being here any more, their tone changes completely and they couldn’t be more helpful!

Anyway, I finally arranged for somebody to come and see her last Friday.

Whilst all this is going on, Mike is still up and down since he had a virus a couple of weeks ago.

We weren’t sure what was going on as it wasn’t all the time that he felt unwell.

He ended up going into hospital for 24 hours observation last Thursday with his blood pressure at 156/111!

He was discharged Friday afternoon as it stabilised to 134/86. They think it was unstable angina caused by the virus. We’re in London next month so we’ll see what Dr Carr-White says.

Friday lunchtime a lovely guy called Daniel visited Grandma and spoke to the home. She should hopefully be going in front of the panel on Thursday I’m just really hoping they don’t move her.

With Mike resting over the weekend our girls watched WWE, which ended up with them re-enacting some of it 😁.

We also had the jobly of the heating going, we had an emergency call-out which of course didn’t fix it and had no heating so we popped out for a family lunch and then lived in the Lou he with a fan heater for the rest of the day.

You will love that Si has been playing his guitar for Mogs.

I know, I know! I need to pick up my violin.

And Isabelle as always, reminds us of you with her dress sense πŸ˜‚.

I wish you were here to laugh with us πŸ˜‚ as I know you would be.

I love and miss you as always Mum.

Loads of love

Me xxx
