How are you?
New job is going well, it’s just trying to work out when I have time for everything! We’ll get there though.
We had family day last weekend in Birmingham. It was a good day but there is still an emptyness, something or someone missing all the time.
Our girls had a great fun day and it was lovely to have all of us together.
Madison was absolutely obsessed with Spider-Man when he arrived.
In the evening we had a family roast dinner which is so different now with so many more children 😂.
On the Sunday we took all of the girls to Hatton Farm to meet Father Christmas. Apart from a downpour of rain they had a great time feeding the animals and meeting Father Christmas.
We have now got out Christmas tree up and I had a lovely surprise of coming home to the outside of our house looking all festive.
Yesterday was the hospice Tree of Love service. We wrote you a dove Mum but you were of course added under late additions 😂.
We had a walk along the Downs, went to find your dove and then went back for the service. It was lovely but I still find it hard to believe that we have to go to things like it in memory of you X
Last night we had Mike’s Christmas party, it was great fun and lovely to get dressed up. Mandy and Chris have had the girls overnight so we are staying in the International hotel.
I miss sharing all of this with you Mum.
I miss your phone calls, breakfasts and text messages.
I think I’m doing ok Mum but I really miss having you here to reassure me.
I love and miss you with all my heart xxx
